4.3. Preparation function

The preparation function is essential to the Tale of Data platform. A preparation function allows applying a series of transformations to input data, utilizing a range of about a hundred possible types of operations, such as formatting, straightening, deduplication, harmonizing, enriching, and setting and applying validation rules.

4.4. Window function

The window function can be useful in a wide range of tasks and lets you process time series and transactional data with ease. A window function performs, for each row of the input dataset, one or more calculations on a set of records that are linked to the current record of the input dataset.
