The preparation function lets you apply a series of transformations per record to input data for the function. Over a hundred different transformations are available for your data (geocoding, duplicates, columns, business rules, business transformations).
The preparation function lets you access a preparation editor in a separate interface, enabling you to e.g.
Formatting:
prepare to receive new data by deleting existing data*.
Correction:
improve the representativity of the sample concerned by removing isolated values.
Deduplication:
analyze records in a file to identify and remove duplicates, i.e. records that are totally or partially the same.
Harmonization:
ensure the use of data items becomes more consistent in terms of meaning and representation format.
Enrichment:
reconcile data from different databases. Data enrichment is essential to maintain data quality.
